EMCC Homecoming Court Named

East Mississippi Community College students elected 12 maids last week to represent the school on its 2013 Homecoming Court. Students will vote in the coming weeks for a Homecoming Queen who will be announced during halftime of the Lions’ Homecoming game against Coahoma Community College Sept. 28 at the Scooba campus. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. Pictured on the front row are freshman maid Kayla Thomas of Shuqualak, freshman maid Dawana Morgan of Heidelberg and freshman maid Meg McBrayer of West Point. On the second row are freshman maid Baleigh Studdard of Columbus, freshman maid Olivia Carpenter of Centerville and freshman maid Mildred Oliver of Isola. On the third row are sophomore maid Morgan Corder of Columbus, sophomore maid Rachel Clay of DeKalb and sophomore maid Megan Reynolds of Scooba. On the fourth row are sophomore maid Rachel Moore of Starkville, sophomore maid Ashley Weeks of Starkville and sophomore maid Kate Timmons of Philadelphia.
