Video: Family, Friends Remember Ole Miss Student Killed in Hit and Run

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — Family and friends are remembering an Ole Miss student killed in a hit and run.

They held a memorial service Thursday for Carli Sears, who would’ve turned 21 that day.

Sears was killed while at home in West Virginia earlier this month.

The junior, hospitality management major was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority.

Her sorority sisters ended the memorial singing Carli’s favorite song, “Country Roads.”

The Ole Miss A O Pi chapter plans to establish a memorial scholarship in Sears’ name.
