Fatherhood Ministry Spends the Weekend Washing Cars

COLUMBUS, Miss.(WCBI)- For one organization, a car wash and a hot meal are great together, especially this Memorial day weekend.

Father’s Child Ministry is based in Columbus, and aims at ending fatherlessness by teaching of the Gospel and utilizing community resources.

The group spent Saturday washing cars and putting on a fish fry. For just $8 a a group of young men scrubbed cars. A hot meal was also served.

Organizers say the money raised will go towards the groups’ 2016 Manhood Camp.

It’s a weekend event that will focus on teaching campers about manhood.
