Video: Fire Destroys Second Oktibbeha Home

STURGIS, Miss. (WCBI) — For the second straight day Oktibbeha county fire crews are up before daybreak fighting a house fire.

270 Tom Street

This time Sturgis fire and rescue worked alongside the Central Oktibbeha crews to battle the fire at 270 Tom Street in Sturgis.

The residents were awakened by the smoke and fire and were able to get out without any injury.

The initial investigation shows some type of heater is likely to blame for the fire especially considering the sub freezing temperature at the time of the fire.
