Video: First Lady Bryant Pushes on With Literacy Initiative

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Mississippi First Lady Deborah Bryant continues her mission to read to children in all 82 counties of the state.

Today, the Read Across Mississippi literacy initiative visited Clay County.

Bryant read “The Fib: A Wordy Tale” by Mississippi author Bill Wilson to students at West Clay Elementary.

Bryant is nearing the first part of her goal. To date, she has read to students in over 70 counties.
