Former Area Hospice Owner Bilks Million From Medicaid

OXFORD, MS (WCBI) The former operator of a Grenada hospice center will be spending three years in prison for defrauding Medicaid of more than a million dollars.
Sandra Livingston ran Milestone Hospice in Grenada and used her role as owner to submit false medicaid claims from Milestone.  Court records show Livingston gave 200 thousand to family members and kept 600 thousand for herself.  Livingston will also have to pay nearly 1 .1million dollars in restitution and serve three years supervised release when she gets out of federal prison.
