Former Neshoba Co. Employee Indicted
NESHOBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A former Neshoba County administrator is indicted in connection with an embezzlement case.
Benjie Coats turned himself in to authorities Thursday, and was released on $10,000 bond.
A Neshoba County grand jury indicted him on one count of fraud in public office.
Coats’ indictment is related to a case where the state says several county employees illegally took hundreds of thousands of dollars between 2008 and 2012.
