Foul Play Possibly Involved In Noxubee Disappearance

Macon, Miss. (WCBI) – Noxubee County investigators are trying to determine if foul play is the reason why a man hasn’t been seen in a week.

Sheriff Terry Grassaree says the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and the F.B.I. are being contacted to assist in the hunt for James McLeod, 72.

Deputies are exploring reasons as to why he didn’t return to his Allen Bend Road home, after walking to Macon, last Tuesday.

Nearby woods have been searched but offered little evidence.

You’re asked to call the Noxubee County Sheriff’s Department if you have any information about McLeod’s disappearance.
