Funeral Arrangements For “Uncle Bunky;” Public Asked To Help Say Goodbye

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Services for Robert “Uncle Bunky” Williams will be Friday.

Visitation is from 11 AM until 1 PM at Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus. The funeral services will immediately follow.

Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery.

The procession will leave Fairview, go down Airline Road and pass by the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department on Martin Luther King Dr.

The procession will then go down Main Street and turn left on 5th Street South, passing by WCBI, and continue to Friendship Cemetery.

Bunky worked at the sheriff’s department and the television station.

The family is asking for people to line Main and 5th Streets to remember Bunky.
