Guntown Police Arrest 2 in Separate Cases

GUNTOWN, Miss. (WCBI) — A Guntown woman is behind bars for her alleged involvement in an early December aggravated domestic violence case. Police also arrested a Mantachie man Monday following a traffic stop.

Guntown police arrested 27-year-old Tricia Rogers in connection with the incident, which took place about 2 p.m. Dec. 6 at a Main Street residence.

Rogers was been charged with aggravated domestic violence.

Rogers’ husband, 28-year-old Andrew Rogers, was also arrested for his alleged involvement, and faces similar charges.

According to Guntown police, Andrew Rogers told authorities “he was choked.”

Both Tricia and Andrew are currently detained on $5,000 bonds.

The case will be presented at the next grand jury meeting.

In a separate case, police arrested 36-year-old Mantachie man Scotty Bob Adams.

Adams was pulled over Monday for improper equipment on his vehicle, according to police. Upon further investigation, the officer determined Adams was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Adams was arrested on the drug charges, and is faced with other misdemeanor traffic violations.

Guntown Municipal Court Judge David Daniels set Adams’ bond at $5,000.
