Video: Hawkeye Invests in New Equipment

TUPELO, Miss. (Press release) — Officials from Hawkeye Industries, Inc. recently announced that it is expanding its operations with a major investment in new equipment for its Tupelo facility. The project represents a $750,000 capital investment.

“We are busier now than we have been in a long time, especially during this time of year, which is typically our slowest quarter,” said Hawkeye Industries President and CEO Bryan Hawkins. “As we continue to grow, it is essential that we meet our customer demands by investing in the most competitive manufacturing processes.”

Hawkeye is adding an additional state-of-the-art punching machine that will expand plant capacity; improving productivity and safety in the plant, while reducing material and energy costs. The company will also hire up to five additional employees in response to an increased production demand.
