Video: Heritage Academy Robotics Competition

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Heritage Academy students are gearing up for their first ever robotics competition.

8th through 12th graders will compete against 50,000 other students from all over the world including 16 different countries.

It’s the 22nd Games of the “Ultimate Ascent” and it all about engineering and of course the money. With over 750 scholarships being handed out, 16 million dollars is up for grabs. Using specific guidelines and materials, Heritage Academy will take its robot and compete against some of the best all over the World.

This years competition will kick off at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
