ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – A Northeast Mississippi band director known for turning out top performers is recognized nationally for her work.

Aberdeen High School band director Toni Reece will be featured next month by School band and Orchestra Magazine as one of the 50 directors who most make a difference in the country.

Reece taught band in Columbus for eight years before taking her talents to Aberdeen 19 years ago.
