‘Holiday Home Tour’ In Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – Three homes on display are elaborately decorated for the Christmas season, as they welcomed guests into their homes for tours. The event is sponsored by the South Monroe County Fund and The Elkin Theatre. First time participant, Sandi Commander, says the day requires a lot of work but it’s a fun event.

“I was very blessed to have a couple of really good friends who went out with me and gathered all the fresh greenery and stuff, because that’s what I wanted to use, so we spent a couple of days putting all that together. It was fun but a lot of work too,” said The Oaks homeowner, Sandi Commander.

The event is a fundraiser for the Elkin Theatre and a reception followed the tours.
