Video: Houston Searches For New Town Clerk

HOUSTON, Miss. (WCBI) – Houston is searching for its next town clerk.

Margaret Futral resigned this week.

She was hired by Aldermen in October of 2014.

Mayor Stacey Parker confirmed her resignation to WCBI today.

He says clerk duties are be split among employees, including himself.

The city is expected to post the job and start taking applications.
