ICC Accepting Applications For EMT-Paramedic Program

BELDEN, Miss. (PRESS RELEASE) – Applications are being accepted through June 1 for the EMT-Paramedic program at Itawamba Community College.

EMT-Paramedic is a 13-month program, which is offered at ICC’s Belden Center.

Students must be a Nationally-Registered EMT-Basic to be eligible for admission.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be awarded a certificate of completion, and those who complete additional academic courses can receive an Associate of Applied Science degree.

To be considered for admission to the EMT program, applicants must complete online applications to both ICC and the EMT program, which are available at www.iccms.edu, and meet the following criteria: 18 years of age or older, high school graduate or GED equivalency, minimum ACT score of 16 if taken before October 1989 and a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician. Additional requirements are also available on the College’s website.
