Video: Kids TV Show Host Honored at Local Business

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)- For years, the “Funtime With Uncle Bunky” TV show, brought smiles to the children in North Mississippi. .

Tuesday afternoon, Party and Paper, a local business, hosted a party for the show’s beloved host, Robert Bunky Williams. Williams is facing a serious illness, and his loved ones in Columbus wanted to help.

Just like old times Bunky drew his famous crazy animals, and guests like Beth Keene, enjoyed refreshments.

“He had a great show through all the years, and everybody here, has been on or seen his kids show,” Keene said.  “He’s done a lot of drawings for me and for Mississippi State and everybody around here. Everybody just loves Uncle Bunky.”

Columbus Mayor Robert Smith also presented a proclamation, declaring Tuesday “Uncle Bunky Day.”
