While Dogs and Cats and kids may seem like a natural combination, there can be a learning curve when it comes to proper petcare and even play. That’s why the National Humane Society sponsors “Kindness in the Classroom.

The kids at Verona Elementary learned how to approach strange animals – pet adoption, and how to take care of their own pets. They even learned that when they grow up they can get jobs helping animals.
