Lee Co. Deputies Looking for Accused Shooting Suspect

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Lee county deputies need your help finding a man they say was involved in a shooting earlier this month.

They’ve issued a warrant for 20-year-old Donte Joseph Smith’s arrest for aggravated assault.

One person was shot in the leg on August 13 in the Green Tee Road area, south of Tupelo.

Investigators say Smith has some local ties, but also has family ties to the Ann Arbor or Detroit, Michigan area.
