Update: Lee Deputies Seek Info On Fire

Update: Floyd is in custody but has not been charged.

(BALDWYN) WCBI Lee County deputies want to talk to a man who might have information about a Tuesday fire which left a seven year old severely burned.

28 year old David Floyd was the last person seen at the home on Highway 370 near Brices crossroads before it caught fire.

A mother and two small children were able to escape the flames but a seven year old was trapped inside and had to be rescued by firemen.  That child received severe burns to her arms and face and is in critical condition at a Memphis hospital.
Sheriff Jim Johnson says the fire has not officially ruled as arson and that Floyd is not facing any criminal charges but is a person they want to talk to.
