Video: Local film, ‘Ozland,’ premiers in Columbus

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) — A local filmmaker is debuting his first feature length film.

Michael Williams of West Point, has been working on “Ozland” for more than a year now.

It will premier for a test screening next week at the Columbus Malco theaters.

The film was shot mostly in West Point. It tells the story of two wanderers in a post-apocalyptic dust bowl, several years into the future. The two find a copy of “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” along their journey.
