Dreams of the silver screen become a reality for one Houston boy.

10 year-old Cody Farr will star in James Franco’s film version of Faulkner’s 19-29 novel, “The Sound and the Fury.”

Farr will star as the young Jason Compson along side “O’ Brother Where Art Thou?” star, Tim Blake Nelson who will play Farr’s father.

Last year James Franco filmed “As I Lay Dying,” another Faulkner book in Canton with local actors.

“The Sound and the Fury” is still in production, so no official release date has been set at this time.
