Video: Louisville Celebrates D.A.R.E. Graduation

[jwplatform TKtYFvgi]LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — More than 200 fifth graders from all over Winston County take the pledge to stay drug free. during ceremonies Friday.

Students from Louisville Elementary, Nanih Waiya and Noxapater Attendance Centers, and Winston Academy gathered at Louisville Elementary to commit to a future without drugs and violence.

The graduates of the D.A.R.E. — Drug Abuse Resistance Education — received certificates and gift bags. Maj. Andrew Rendon, Mississippi State’s vice president of student affairs, was the featured speaker.

DARE was founded in Los Angeles in 1983.
