Video: Lowndes Co. Mobile Home Catches Fire

LOWNDES CO., Miss. – (WCBI)A blaze nearly destroys a Lowndes County mobile home.

Firefighters were called to the home on Mike Parra Road around 6:45 p.m Tuesday evening.

There, they found visible flames coming from the windows and smoke billowing from the roof. Volunteer firefighters with Lowndes County District 2 were able to quickly contain the fire.

Thankfully, no one was injured.  With heavy smoke and water damage, the home is likely a total loss.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
