Video: Lowndes County Crash Injures One

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A car went airborne and demolished a tree in Lowndes County on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash happened, in a curve, on Jess Lyons Road and Autumn Trail just before 4 P.M.

Family members say the unidentified driver may have fallen asleep.

The car hit the tree about four feet high.

The unidentified driver reported some pains but is expected to be OK.
