COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lowndes County grand jury hands down several indictments in Columbus investigations.

Jarvis Alexander and Kenny Armistad are both charged with drive-by shooting, aggravated assault, and shooting into a dwelling.

The charges stem from a June second shooting in the 16 hundred block of seventh Avenue South.

At the time, witnesses told WCBI a man was shot twice.

Alexander and Armistad later turned themselves into police.

In an unrelated case, Terrance McBride was indicted for leaving the scene of an accident with injuries.

Eva Richardson, 50, was hit and killed in April when she was walking near seventh avenue and 17th Street North.

Witnesses told WCBI, McBride allegedly got out of the vehicle and looked at McBride before driving off.

His vehicle was later found by Columbus police.
