Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office Make Arrests First Week Of March

LOWNDES CO., Miss. (PRESS RELEASE)  – The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office made several drug arrests to kick off the first week of March 2016.

33-year-old Eric Shevontae Brooks of Columbus was arrested March 2nd during a traffic stop for no tag and tampering with evidence.

19-year-old Taylor Whit Beard of Tupelo was arrested March 4th on charges of cyberstalking and communication to extort.

35-year-old McKinley Romell Fields of Columbus was arrested March 5th during a traffic stop and faces a slew of charges, including expired tag, expired license, no insurance, possession of marijuana, possession of a weapon by a felon, and possession of methamphetamine.
