Lowndes Lovers’ Dispute Ends In Gunfire

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A lovers’ dispute turns to gunfire in Lowndes County on New Year’s Day.

Now, Christopher Colvin, 46, is charged with aggravated assault.

Deputies say Colvin went to his girlfriend’s home and found another person there.

There was an argument and then a gun was fired.

Investigators say the Carrollton, Alabama man left the scene and was later arrested.

His bond was set at $15,000.
