Video: Make-A-Wish Leader Addresses Columbus Exchange Club

COLUMBUS, Miss. – (WCBI) Their organization grants wishes to children every year,and Thursday, one of their administrators shared stories of how Make-A-Wish Mississippi has made its impact on Lowndes County.

Rod Henderson was the speaker at the Columbus Exchange Club.

Make-A-Wish is a non-profit organization that uses donations to help enrich the lives of terminally ill children through unforgettable experiences.

“We have granted, since 2009 about 14 wishes here in Lowndes County.Just telling them about the stories of kids, the impact that Make-A-Wish has on these kids and the value of what Make-A-Wish does for the wish child, for the family, and even for the volunteers, for those involved,” says Henderson, Senior Director of Development for Make-A-Wish Mississippi.

Make-A-Wish was founded in 1980.
