Caledonia Man Accused Of Burning Car

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Caledonia man is accused of taking and burning someone’s car.

Travis Lamar Jackson, 26, of Caledonia is charged with breaking and entering of a vehicle, felony malicious mischief and arson.

According to Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell, deputies were called to Cochran Bridge in the Bartahatchie community on Saturday about the burned out vehicle.

Jackson was arrested Sunday.

As of Monday afternoon, bond had not been set. Jackson is being held in the Monroe County jail.
