Man Accused Of Desecrating American Flag At Columbus Wal-Mart

COLUMBUS, Miss. (Press Release) – On September 9, 2015, at 4:10pm Columbus Police responded to 1913 Highway 45 North (Wal-Mart) for a disturbance. Officers made contact with a customer who told them that a black male entered the store (Sporting goods section)with a flag and began spitting and stomping on it. The male took flags from the shelf and threw them on the floor. As the customer attempted to pick up one of the flags, the male then assaulted the customer then left the Wal-Mart property.
