Man Arrested For DUI Escapes, Turns Himself In

STARKVILLE, Miss. (Press Release) – On October 1, 2015 at approximately 4:00am, Starkville Police Officers made a traffic stop for speeding on Spring Street. The driver, 18 year old Austin Rivers McGraw, from Flora, MS. was subsequently placed into custody for suspicion of DUI. As officers were arranging for transportation of McGraw’s passengers, he exited the patrol car and fled the scene.
On October 1, 2015 at 5:00pm Austin Rivers McGraw turned himself into the Starkville Police Department after Warrants were issued for Escape, DUI and Petit Larceny; as well as citations for several other traffic violations. He was served, processed and later bonded out. His court date has been set for November 2, 2015.
