Man Charged After Fleeing Starkville Police

STARKVILLE, Miss. (Press Release) — On April 10, 2015, officers with the Starkville Police Department were involved in a vehicle pursuit while assisting the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Vehicle information had been relayed to the Starkville Police Department by MDOC in regards to a vehicle driven by Kino Atkinson. Officers spotted this vehicle after MDOC made initial contact. After a short pursuit, 32 year old, Kino Atkinson residing at 625 South Montgomery Street #16, was apprehended.

Mr. Atkinson was taken into custody by MDOC at the conclusion of the pursuit. The Starkville Police Department will have charges pending against him for the felony fleeing.
