Man Charged in Shooting Released on Bond

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-A man arrested in a Clay County shooting is released on bond.

20-year-old Eddious Deshaun Webb is charged with aggravated assault with a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and failure to appear.

Sheriff Eddie Scott tells WCBI the shooting happened in a convience store parking lot on Highway 46, near the Webster County line, on Saturday.

Scott says Webb and the victim got into a fight. That’s when Webb pulled a gun and shot three times.

The victim was hit in the arm and later released from the hospital.

There had been an ongoing feud between the men.
