Man Charged With Robbing Tupelo Baskin Robbins

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Tupelo police charge a man in connection with the Thursday afternoon robbery of an ice cream shop.

Investigators say 35-year-old Frederick Ellis walked into the Baskin Robbins store on West Main Street and assaulted employees.

He reportedly threatened them with a knife, took money from the cash register, and ran.

He was arrested a short time later. His bond is set at $31, 000.
