Man Deceased After Lawn Mower Accident

MONROE COUNTY, Miss (WCBI) – Tuesday night a lawn mower was discovered overturned in a small pond in the Sipsey Fork Community.

Paul Wayne Puckett, 77, was found dead under the lawnmower. Puckett appeared to be spraying weeds close to the ponds edge when his mower overturned and landed on top of him. The cause of death is being ruled as drowning.

Puckett was driving a standard Wizard 19 Hp mower.

He was the owner of the B&P Hardware in Sulligent.
