Man Pleads Guilty to Sexual Battery, Fondling Against Young Child

BOONEVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — A man in Booneville pleads guilty to sexual battery and fondling charges against a child younger than 14.

Now 31-year-old Mikeal James Pope will have to serve 30 years in the state penitentiary.

District Attorney John Weddle says Pope won’t be eligible for release until he serves his entire sentence.
