Man Sentenced for Fondling of a Child

BOONVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Judge James Roberts Jr. sentenced James Thompson, 68, on Monday to 10 years in prison on sexual battery and fondling charges in connection with two children.

Thompson pleaded guilty in Prentiss County Circuit Court and was sentenced to serve his term day-for-day.

He will be required to register as a sex offender after serving his term.
