Man to Serve Six Years in Prison for Drug Possession

OKTIBBEHA CO, Miss. (WCBI)- In Oktibbeha Circuit Clerk a repeat offender is found guilty surrounding drug charges.

Wednesday, a jury found James Wordlaw guilty of of possession of cocaine.

This is Wordlaw’s 5th felony conviction. His prior convictions include felony uttering forgery in 1993, and the sale of cocaine in Clay County back in 2000.

Wordlaw rap sheet also includes two burglaries in Oktibbeha County.

Immediately after the trial, Wordlaw was sentenced to six years in prison and was fined $6,000.
