Marshall’s Nab Suspect in Okolona Dice Game Shooting
OKOLONA, Miss. (WCBI) – The man accused of shooting three people at a dice game in Okolona is now in jail.
David Stanfield, 39, of Houlka, is charged with three counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Stanfield has a prior assault conviction.
Okolona police say U.S. Marshals captured Stanfield in Tunica County on Wednesday.
Police say two adults and one juvenile were injured in the February 18 shooting during a dice game on Academy Street. All have been released from the hospital.
No bond has been set. Stanfield remains in the Chickasaw County jail.
