MDOT Closes Case On MDOT Beer Truck

JACSKON, MS (WCBI) -The investigation into the MDOT officer who used his state truck to carry passengers and beer to an Ole Miss ballgame is over. MDOT officials issued the following statement on the incident today

The Mississippi Department of Transportation has completed its investigation regarding photos that surfaced on social media in September. This is a personnel issue involving only one MDOT employee. Appropriate and necessary disciplinary action has been taken as a result of the investigation in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Mississippi State Personnel Board.
