Middleton, TN Teen Dies in Tippah County Crash

[PRESS RELEASE]

RIPLEY, Miss.  The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a late afternoon crash, in Tippah County, that claimed the life of a Middleton, TN teen.

Troopers responded to US 72, west of Walnut, at approximately 5:30 p.m. Upon arriving, it appeared Mary C Brown, 16, of Middleton, TN was traveling east bound when she apparently lost control of her 2001 Jeep. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned. Brown was ejected from the vehicle and died on the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
