Video: Minivan Into Ditch Injures One

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – One woman is injured after she loses control of her minivan on rain slicked Highway 45.

The accident happened about 3:30 Friday (5-3)  afternoon, near Chism’s Auto Body.

Witnesses say the vehicle likely hydroplaned.

The van spun around several times before coming to rest in a ditch.

Its driver was taken from the scene, by ambulance, to Baptist Memorial Golden Triangle.

No word yet on her name or condition.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol worked the accident.
