Mississippi Highway Patrol Blood Drive
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Mississippi Highway Patrol troopers helped save live, one bag at a time.
MHP Troop G, out of Starkville, hosted a blood drive Tuesday (9/258) afternoon at the District 5 office. The bus was parked right in front of the building and ready to operate. The Highway Patrol feels it’s always important to give back.
“It’s a blood replenishment for retired trooper Reggie Barry, it’s just an opportunity for folks to come out and give the gift of live, give blood back. Blood banks are usually low and they’re always needing some blood,” says Criss Turnipseed, MHP Public Information officer.
The drive was open from 10 am to 3 pm.
