The National Weather Service will conduct a statewide tornado drill at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, October 28th in conjunction with Fall Severe Weather Preparedness Week.  Weather radios and sirens may sound but it will only be a test.

The threat of severe weather, including tornadoes, does increase in November as stronger cold fronts move into the Deep South.  Now is a good time to make sure you have a severe weather action plan in place in case severe weather affects your location this year.
