Monroe County Manslaughter Conviction

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Monroe County man is found guilty of manslaughter.

Christopher Thompson will be sentenced Friday in Monroe County Circuit Court.

Thompson was arrested in March 2014 for the death of Tommy Harlow, 50.

At the time of Thompson’s arrest, Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell told WCBI the men were arguing and Harlow was beat to death on Church Road.

Cantrell said the men knew each other through a relationship with a woman.
