Monroe Deputies Arrest 4 In Unrelated Burglaries

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Monroe County investigators make four arrests in two separate break-ins.

Jonathan and George McCollum are charged with burglary.

Deputies say the brothers broke into a home on Pearce Chapel Road in Smithville last week.

An iPod accessory and a dorm room refrigerator were taken.

The Amory men remain in jail.

In an unrelated burglary investigation, Steven Hughes of Aberdeen and Michael Harrington from Becker are both charged with burglary of a dwelling.

Deputies say guns and two TV’s were taken on Little Coontail Road, near Aberdeen.

No mug shot was available for Harrington.

They also remain in jail.
