Monroe Men Face New Charges

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Two men already facing serious charges from a police stand off 10 days ago face new charges.

A private prosecutor has signed affidavits charging 53-year-old Steve Brantley and 35-year-old David Little with sexual battery.

The two men were served with the warrants Friday. Both were arrested August 27th after a five-hour stand off with Monroe County sheriff’s deputies at their home on Highway 6 east of Nettleton.

The stand off began after investigators tried to make a drug arrest and search.
