MSU Professor Charged with Assaulting Daughter

STARKVILLE, Miss. – (WCBI) A Mississippi State professor faces charges for allegedly sexually assaulting his adopted daughter.

Starkville police arrested 45-year-old Yoginder Dandass Monday.

According to investigators, Dandass, who is a computer science professor at MSU, is accused of sexually assaulting the girl at his home for seven years.

The abuse is alleged to have started in 2005 when Dandass adopted her from an orphanage in Russia.

Dandass was indicted by the Oktibbeha County grand jury for sexual battery. Bond is set at $50, 000.
