BOONEVILLE – A 29-year-old Booneville man is being held on $250,000 bond on charges filed after a four-hour standoff Saturday with police at an apartment complex.  Police Chief Michael Ramey said Patrick Wayne Windham is charged with one count of aggravated assault on a police officer with a deadly weapon and one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.  Ramey said police responded to a disturbance call received from the suspect’s wife around 3:32 p.m. Saturday. He said officers found Windham had barricaded himself in a bedroom. He said Windham fired one shot, and it went into a bedroom wall. He said no one was hurt.  Windham is being held in the Prentiss County jail. The state has a hold on him for a probation violation.
